COMPLIANCE DECLARATION NOTICE
Client Declaration

Under Regulation 18 of The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024, a compliance declaration must be submitted to the Registered Building Control Approver before the Final Certificate can be released. Accordingly, upon receiving this declaration, Adrian Thomas Building Control Ltd will acknowledge its receipt on the Final Certificate.

If a dutyholder is unable to provide a compliance declaration, we are required to cancel the Building Regulation application and refer the work to the Local Authority so that they may take enforcement action against the Client.

We request the Client, Principal Designer, and Principal Contractor to consult Regulation 18 of The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024 along with Part 2A (dutyholders and competence) of the Building Regulations 2010 (click the links to view the legislation) and subsequently fill out the declaration below.

the completion of the building work as described in the Initial Notice;
to the best of my knowledge, the work comply with all applicable requirements of the Building Regulations;
the description of work (as described in the Initial Notice or, if applicable, subsequent Amendment Notices) is an accurate description of the building work.
